“Finishing the Green” lands on the Sunday morning – during worship – just prior to Christmas Day. By then, we have decorated nearly the entire sanctuary as well as all the general areas of the church — Finishing the Green brings together the final few pieces: the setting of a manger scene, lighting one last Advent Candle, important readings, and more.
This year was no different and you just might spot a handful of people you know and love in the gallery of images just below!
Our final candle lit was the candle of HOPE; Romans 15:13 reads, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
